Hi, I’m Sjobor. I started this blog as a way to help community-focused organizations think about the way they use social media.
I practically grew up at my local museum, so I know the difficulties inherent in being a community organization: small budgets, smaller staffs, and limited audiences, among other issues. I also understand the power social media has in sharing information and connecting individuals to their communities. For organizations that rely on these tight-knit communities, the ability to keep in contact and share stories can determine the organization’s success or failure.
My hope is, through this blog, you’ll be able to find some resources that help shape the way you think about social media.
From time to time, I’ll talk about other topics that interest me, including politics, etiquette, and other oddities that come with being human.
Thanks, and happy reading!
